What will you be working on? What is the problem you will be solving?

  • Co-build the Belong Reach Product - An automated platform to manage and scale a company’s employer brand. Since the product is in it’s 0-1 stage, you’ll be one of the early members on the team and will be instrumental in building the product ground up.
  • Own development and maintenance of all talent and employee related systems across Belong’s select customers. This includes surveys, career pages, ATS’s, HRMS etc
  • Use technology to create a great candidate and employee experience for Lakhs of applicants/quarter and tens of thousands of employees across India
  • Work with People/Technology leadership to create compelling technology that helps bring out our select customer’s values, vision and tech capabilities.
  • Be experimentative and creative in using your skills to capture the imagination of potential candidates and engaging employees. On an average day you’d be breaking down technical challenges, writing code, looking at bugs, interacting with customers and collaborating with product managers, designers, front-end engineers, customer success manager to help create value.

What specific skills and traits you should possess?

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in development across any technology stack
  • Good to have worked on React.js, Node.js
  • Good interpersonal skills as you’ll be working closely with PMs, Designers, Customer Success Managers to develop and deploy products
  • Should have worked on core backend platforms or a product that you were able to drive to production - preferably a customer facing product (0-1 or 1-10) rather than an internal product.
  • Ownership and customer-centric mindset, with a bias for speed.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, cross system integrations as well as frontend development.
  • Empathize with candidate/employee needs and aspirations
  • Excited by experimentation and learning new skills on the go
  • Would need to be data-driven and would be good to have some experience in tools like ATS’s, CRMs
