About the opportunity

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll working on both the category top-line and bottom-line
  • Defining product strategy and roadmap for achieving the ABP.
  • Planning for achieving category wise net margin delivery.
  • You’ll working on ensuring merchandise availability and quality
  • To make sure optimum racking capacity is maintained with right product mix at the stores
  • Minimalistic customer complaints on product by closely monitoring the merchandise quality of the brands
  • You’ll be regularly monitoring the market pricing of the products
  • You’ll be Expansion of product lines and implementation of successful exit strategies for non-performing brands
  • You’ll have ownership of the Inventory Management
  • Maintaining SKU count for line and SKU productivity
  • Managing inventory and effectively planning and forecasting of inventory in order to maintain the profitability of inventory flow
  • You’ll be responsible for performing marketing of products and product line to promote sales in coordination with the marketing teams.
  • You’ll ensure SOP adherence and manage stock ageing
  • SOP Adherence in stock inwards and returns at the store
  • Stock ageing maintenance as per the guidelines and stock churning season wise.
  • You’ll be responsible for the stock management for smooth promo implementation through stock fulfilment ratio, promotion management and liquidation of aged merchandise

Qualifications:

  • Have to imbibe a hands-on approach, self-starter and ability to work independently
  • 7 - 8 years of experience
  • Detail-oriented, excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Your knowledge of the product and the merchandising.
  • Your expertise in interactions with other stakeholders
  • Developing strong working relationships with other departments.
  • Regular interactions with the store teams.
  • Arranging training sessions for the store staff about product knowledge.
  • Your experience in Vendor management
  • Working closely with the vendors for acquisition of products
  • Negotiating pricing, delivery and payment terms with the vendors
